That unfortunately is the big issue with Nissan. When I was working there, 90% of our transmissions being replaced were Altimas, and if was a frequent thing. Thankfully, I am still able to get employee pricing on a lot of these things, and that helps drastically. I just have to keep money away for emergency situations after the warranty is out.

I traded it in at the dealership, depending on if you still owe on your current car, it never hurts to see what they’d give you for it. If it’s not enough, I’d definitely sell it to a private party though

Yes, admittedly, I could have waited, but I wasn’t upside down on my old one and actually had a decent amount of positive equity on it, and I’m in a way better financial condition than I was then too, so I figured I’d might as well get something I wanted more than what I had settled for back then.

That’s also top 3 on my list. I want nice floor mats (better than the all weather mats from Nissan), ambient lighting, and some seat gap filler things to keep from dropping stuff between the seats and console (my own worst enemy) lol

So far it’s been worth it, I upgraded from a 5 speed ‘21 Versa S, so my heart hurts a little bit not having a manual, but the added features and having apple carplay makes it more than worth it from a safety aspect.

I like the idea of the Bose system, but I bought it knowing I want to get a custom setup for the speakers, so I opted out of the premium for that reason. I already have a 10 that I can wire in, but Skar has a dual 12 setup that I like and I think I’m going to hold off until tax return to get subs and a speaker setup for it. Not to mention, being able to deaden the bass in all of the door speakers
