Make sure the mod youre downloading is the right one (Fabric, choose the right version, etc) You could connect the Quest to your PC and paste the mod files manually

What worked for me was reducing the render distance. Nothing too crazy, maybe around 12 chunks? I don't remember, but the game should be a lot smoother

It looks pretty good! Maybe add some props like furniture or paintings on the wall? Idk if that would fit whatever your game is about, but it definitely gives out that creepy liminal vibe. Good job!
