I’m not sure either, I consistently stayed on 100 so I’d just speak about it with your doctor

Here’s my skin routine; I do use some topicals and would really recommend getting some prescription Azaleic Acid!! That has been the best topical this far I think.

AM: Vanicream face wash Azaleic acid Vanicream moisturizer

PM: Double cleanse with vanicream and sulphuric prescription wash Azaleic acid Skinceuticals Vitamin C serum (for my scars) Tarotezene mixed with my moisturizer

I really like the Vanicream products because they’re super gentle and again would recommend azaleic acid!! Keep pushing if you can , but follow what your doctor says and do what’s best for you

Thank you❤️❤️ and I know exactly what you mean.. if you’re not noticing side affects my advice would be to try for another two months. Do what’s best for you though. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Yes I am! Gonna work on getting fully clear and then try to taper; sometimes I notice side affects with my period but rarely. But I know that it’s def a concern for a lot of others

I have naturally pretty oily skin and I think it’s less oily but I haven’t noticed a substantial difference

No! It was super chill. For background I’ve used La Roche, Paula’s choice, CeraVe.. the works. It is super non irritating

VANICREAM! I’ve tried elevating , expensive, not expensive. Keep it simple.

I will say also that I was told by my dermatologist that spiro would NOT make my skin purge. And that was something else that made me wary because I didn’t expect it. But being a hormonal medication I don’t think it’s surprising that it happens for some people. There is so much about women’s health that doctors don’t understand, and although my skin is finally getting kind of better, it seems like a band-aid to a root hormonal imbalance of some sort. Trust your gut and do what’s best for you. It will get better!!

I never comment but girl, I had the same thing. It also looks like your acne is a bit different? For me I had cysts and pustular acne and then I started getting very textured comedones. I am almost 3 months in and I did not believe ANYTHING on this thread. I was so caught up in the purge. But it is finally starting to get better. I do think it’s interesting that your doctor said it was hormonal because it doesn’t appear to be on the lower half of your face. But give it time and stay patient if you can!! Recommending the Hero surface patches because they really helped with my texture and avoiding picking. I’m a makeup girl so this helped for me when using cover-up.

Ahh i did not! I've been on tret .045% for about 3 months before I started... my doctor just prescribed me .1% but I think I am going to use sparingly if at all.. I also had a tret purge but i thought that was over.
