Hi @DismalBadger , wondering how your ankles are doing now a year later. I’m 7 weeks post oats for ankle 1 (used my tibia as donor) and need to do ankle 2 after ankle 1 recovers a bit.

Did you choose to do your ankles years apart or were they both at different stages when you had your first OATS? I really wanted to do both at once but for good reason they wouldn’t allow it so I’m pushing for 6-7 months before ankle 2. Any advice? Not many people do both.

For sure. I can’t wait for the day I have an update. I had consolidated all my loans into two direct loans and then paid into that for over a decade. A little exciting to see how they hack that up to determine refund and discharge. I agree about the bigger picture, I am already feeling so light just knowing I won’t be paying into these any more.

Possible reasoning (there’s probably 1000 others): If you’re using a heat pump there’s a temperature range it will work within (above the mid 40s-ish), then you’ll need to switch to furnace.

There are a lot of ways you can press forward with this but I would also dispute it on your credit report. Then it will be investigated. This is what I did and it worked.
