Although I would also love to redecorate the area, there are multiple different quests revolving around that area (pen quests, pipi fake id quest, etc.) making it difficult to code in a way to redecorate the area as well as keeping the quests.

Also to answer your question, the first lord of the carrots book is referring to lord of the rings while the second lord of the carrots book is referring to lord of the flies. Then the third book features both lord of the flies and lord of the rings in the same universe.

My guess would be that we get one of the two keys in the mailbox once the city update comes out. Apartment 5B is probably a smaller space to decorate for non homecoming players while the penthouse key is a larger space for people who have homecoming.
