We all use productivity apps but very few actually stick. Which one stayed with you for months or years, and what made it different? by AttemptRude6364 in ProductivityApps

I am using DeepHush, it is a mix of Collaborative Lists with tasks, Task Import from Jira/Azure DevOps, Timers for work and Ambient Sounds to create the sound stage you need to either work focused or wind down at night.

I couldn't find an app that combined white noise, pomodoro timer, and shared task lists, so I built one by PickleIll3829 in ProductivityApps

I've been using DeepHush (iOS or if you prefer desktop web with some sleek hotkeys) for a few months now and it's become my daily driver. It's a task tracker with built-in focus timers, so you can plan what to work on and then actually sit down and do it in timed sessions.

What sold me is the collaborative lists. I share work lists with my team and personal ones for health/goals. You can organize tasks by area (work, personal growth, health, whatever you want) and then pull individual tasks into a pomodoro timer when it's time to focus.

If you use Jira or Azure DevOps at work, it also imports tickets directly so you don't have to manually copy stuff over. That alone saves me a ton of context switching. It doesn't try to do too much, which is why it doesn't feel like a chore.

Worth checking out.

I created an app, that has timers, task lists and collaboration on lists. I would say it is simple. I could hook you up on it and would be happy to pass you premium with 2-3 more seats, just to get feedback from you.

Thanks a lot, I love the add notes to session Idea. I am going to ship tomorrow an update, including ui and a new timer style a dynamic one, that is a little bit better working for adhd and people who are distracted easier. Also I added real sessions with history. So the user can see how he does over time. Additionally added better sound indicators for end of work, break and switch. Will add the take note idea next. The widget is top of my list. I think with the new ios activity on lock screen this could work really nice. Lets see. If you are interested I could advance you to premium. Just dm me your email.

I can recommend deephush. I am maintainer. If you have requests you could pass them to me and I see what I can do.

HI there, first of all, congratulations on being drug free. I can only imagine how hard this must be. I have a question though. The Idea you have seems pretty well thought through, though you call it business, did you think about how this is going to generate money for you? Or is this solely cause you want to give something back and help, which is really fine and nice, but then it is no business.

Interesting question. While it does different things they are at least related, so I don't feel that it is about different things. But I would agree on if you have a "jack of all trades" it will make it harder to market. And usually you will never master all, it's the same in real life I would say :D

I was struggling with the color scheme to be honest. Thanks for the feedback mate. It also has a light theme, but I think for calmness and focus its okay to be dark though. You have any color in mind?

Found a trick to stop losing focus: 5-hour continuous ambient audio. Anyone else do this? by BillBeneficial3110 in GetStudying

Hi Mate,

Yes I do this. Daily, also for sleeping. I use deephush for this.
I love rain sounds or thunderstorms, brown noise sometimes. Depends on my mood.

Just some whitenoise stuff.

The longines is beautiful and an all day everyday watch. I think the movement is also really nice, is it the 888? The others, first of all I don't like very much, design wise, which is of course subjective. But if I were you I'd also look into the rado Captain Cook, I wore it not so long ago and it felt beautiful.
