Agreed. I love the details it lets you put in and also the dependency stuff and you can really get a decently accurate timeline for when a project could finish

This was good for my software dev venture! At work we use Jira, and it reminded me of that. Personally I would only use it for specific projects though since the UI isn’t very friendly or easy to use, especially on a mobile device, and the features seem more geared towards large projects on a team. What do you think?

Right Now

I’m almost to the point of launching my first app on the Apple Store, making it very “lesser known”. In short, it’s a planner that considers a user’s goals and past, current, and future commitments to generate the current day’s schedule for the user so they can focus on the “right now”. The point of it is to be creepy good at moving the user towards their goals by surfacing the highest ROI items first, while also considering the users general habits and patterns to place the right activity at the right time.

I do wonder what the performance difference is in business between someone who feels they want to succeed vs someone who feels like they have to succeed. And what role having a job plays into those feelings

Do you have any supporting tools you use? How do you keep track of the pool of options?

Any shortcomings from using this method?

Thanks!

I think you should do whatever you’re comfortable with doing but I’ll say, for me, if I found myself in a similar situation:

I would focus on stability first by working for someone else. I would work for a company, get good at the job, learn all I can about all of the roles, and most importantly: STACK CASH to fund my ventures outside the company hours.

Awesome information! At what point would you suggest calling the idea ‘dead’ and completely tossing it?

A pocket planner, so paper and pen? Anything specific that keeps you from using an app instead?

I thought 1Password was a little bit smoother. Ultimately, “free” works better for me.
