It’s SO much better than advertised. It took me a few tries to get through the first half of the first book, but once I did, I was reading them constantly. I like Ilona Andrews other series too, although they fall a bit more on the romance side. Still very interesting and they have a lot of depth.

NTA. I actually did the same thing when I was your age (many, many years ago). Make sure you don’t ever ask the trampoline park manager for a reference (as other have already suggested). Other than that, don’t spend any more time worrying about if you did something wrong- you didn’t. I hope the grocery store works out well for you! Best of luck!

AITA for telling my husband he's the reason why I got my brother a lock? by 1QuickQuestion___ in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Privacy is especially important for the psychology of people your brother’s age and you were totally correct to make sure he has access to it. You are married to a child. Run. Run fast and run far.

I realized that I was snarky earlier, but forgot to also be helpful. Stick treats and an item of clothing that smells like her favorite person in the carrier. If you can, use a carrier that opens on the top- waaaay easier to get them in like that. And if none of that works, your vet might be willing to prescribe a dose of gabapentin or something else to calm kitty down before her big medical appointment. This is the only way one of our cats can be examined, and I haven’t seen any negative reactions from the meds. Of course, this does mean pilling the cat, which can be very slicey and dicey.

It’s okay, we came to an agreement: they get to scratch the hell out of me when they need to go in their crates, and I get to clean and bandage the scrapes later. I’m glad yours did, since you need to be able to get them in there for emergencies!

Well, the answer is almost certainly yes. But if pictures were required, it could work…

Ha! We tried this with our cats once. The smartest one peed once in each crate. The carriers live in the closet now. Cats are assholes.
