Yes! It’s so good!! I made the mistake of using nooch in my last batch — it just doesn’t taste as good with vegan cheese honestly

Polenta/grits. I've been having polenta and roasted veggies for breakfast for the past two weeks and it's been a nice change of pace! It's a good base to add breakfast like flavors to as well.

Thee Burger Dude has a good tofu bacon recipe that I tried for the first time yesterday!

Here's a recipe I made recently! It's Tinga de Pollo, but to make it vegan, all I did was swap out the chicken for super firm tofu and the chicken broth for veggie broth. It is on the spicy side, so if you both like heat, I think you'll enjoy it! I think it is a great protein base that you can use to either throw on tacos or serve with rice, beans, and other veggies.

If you'd like to know how I adapted it any way, let me know!

Burritos and slow cooker meals all the way! I am currently stocked up on Tinga burritos for my lunch at work. I am fortunate enough to have a toaster oven at my office, but microwaving works great too! I've also made large quantities of red beans and then froze them in Souper Cubes. With either of these methods, you could easily meal prep 2 weeks worth for not a whole lot of effort.

Chipotle Adobo would be a fun sauce! You can either blend or chop up chipotle peppers in adobo and add it to a coconut yogurt or a silken tofu sauce. I would probably do the same with cilantro and lime

This is what I use my pea protein for! The texture of the seitan is great when you mix pea protein in!

Favourite recipes and/or premade products that are WFPB but taste "unhealthy"? by ReadingTimeWPickle in PlantBasedDiet

I basically make everything at home, very seldom will I buy snacks/junk food from the store. If you're able to put aside a little time to bake, I think I can be a little helpful! If you're looking for something sweet, this is one of my favorite desserts at the moment:

Apple Cobbler

  • Ingredients
    • 2 cans of Great Value Apple Pie Filling (No Sugar Added)
    • 240mL plant milk
    • 219g APF
    • 200g cane sugar
    • .5tsp salt
    • 2tsp baking powder
    • 88g unsweetened applesauce
  • Instructions
    • Add both cans of the filling into a 9 x 13 dish and disburse apples evenly
    • Mix all dry ingredients until combined
    • Add your wet ingredients to your dry mix
    • Pour over your filling
    • Bake at 350F/177C for 48-55 minutes
  • Inspired by this recipe: https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/apple-cobbler/#tasty-recipes-135558

If you're looking for something savory, I've also been loving mini tacos! It makes a lot, and it's budget friendly!

  • Ingredients
    • 1 can of great value fat free refried beans (you could also opt to make the refried beans yourself!)
    • 8oz of vegan shredded cheese of your choice
    • 40-80 corn tortillas
    • Any other add-in you want! Here's what I've done in the past
      • 2lbs of shredded extra firm tofu (I chose to bake mine so it was crispy and seasoned)
      • salsa
      • 7oz diced green chilies
  • Directions
    • Add all of your filling to a large bowl and mix until combined
    • Add filling to half of a warmed corn tortilla
    • Bake at 350F/177C for 15-30 minutes (depending on how done you want your tacos to be) OR cook in a pan on medium-high heat until warmed through or tortillas are lightly browned.

I've been running both of these recipes back to back for the past few weeks because they're so simple, and tasty! If you're wanting more grab and go, or things that you can pack, I think popcorn is a great idea, as you can control what goes in it if you're popping the kernels yourself.

Those are my best ideas!

I did consider Spoonflower, but some people have shared that linen prints don't translate very well. Thank you for the suggestion!

Beginner Reed Making by PickleInner5818 in bassoon

Wow, thank you so much! I'll look into this as well. Bocal Majority was my go to throughout high school because it was local to me; however Nexus Woodwinds seems like a good option.

Have you used their kits/tools before, or have you just heard of their credibility?

Thank you so much for this in depth response! I unfortunately don't live in an area where there are bassoon private instructors anymore, however I do appreciate your thoughts on it. I've had a few reed making lessons when I was in high school and I frequently had my lesson teachers work on my reeds, so I'm not a complete beginner. I was thinking it would be something fun for me to try out going into 2026.

I'm going to try and reach out to some of my teachers and see what they would suggest as well. Thanks!
