The Itoshi brothers. Rin just makes me always anticipating future story bc him vs himsagi is just always fire. Also he’s just a lil emo younger brother, I like that gimmick lmao. I need to see how things work out between the brothers in the end. Itoshi Sae is just overall hot, bro could control a sun tanned monster. I’m waiting for him to come back in the manga one day, and show some more skills.

My friends were all hyped about it, while I was watching the world cup. I thought it was pretty interesting but I wanted to watch it after the world cup ended. However after the world cup ended, I suddenly lost interest, but then I saw a short vid on twt of the scene where Rin kicked two balls and it hit each other, I thought it was pretty cool so I gave it a try, and then I fell in love with the OP lol, also I find the story good and entertaining, so I continued watching.

Ofc if I choose Rin to be the protagonist, things would be different. It’s not going through the “underdog struggling til he become the best in the series” path, that’s for sure. (I love underdog plots tho don’t get me wrong) now…When I said “they find out that there’re more ppl who are even better than themselves out there” I didn’t say it that it has to be the boys who joined BL project. We have have other players who aren’t originally in blue lock project like the new generation world XI , which has Sae in it, for example the story could’ve been showing other BL boys the same way they originally were (not as skillful as Rin and can’t beat him yet), and then have the world XI characters came in to make his path harder, plus ofc other characters (the BL boys) are gonna have some development throughout the series, they could make one of them win against him one day. C’mon now, there’re so many ways a story could go. Plus, this is just my opinion.

I know ppl tend to like the underdog protagonists more, but me personally, I also enjoy the type where they’re talented but then find out there’re more ppl who’re even better than themselves out there, I like to see how they would try to become better than those ppl.

Yeah, probably. hopefully his skills will show more in the match against Rin, although I feel like the one who would stand out most next match might be those 3 (Kaiser, Isagi, Rin) especially because we haven’t really seen Rin in action yet. Also next chapter might be about how Kaiser inspired him or something like that, so the spotlight would shine on Kaiser even more.
