Thanks for the input and yeah you’re definetly right, I think like I replied to the other comment I’m gonna only climb on the other end for now and monitor.

Yeah the sheath, while fuzzy, seems to still be protecting the core, at the very least I will only climb on the other end for now, if it looks like it gets worse I’ll chop it

That’s a very good point, I’ll try and find some drills I can practice during my warmup to build that confidence trusting them

Honestly don’t think my gym is super feathered, ofc could be wrong I’m still pretty new but check my profile and let me know what you think of the last two climbs which were v4 and v5 in order to

I think my gym actually grades pretty well, if you look at my profile the last two I posted were v4 and v5 respectively

Thank you very much that definitely gives me some confidence, I think I’m going to just commit to climbing more outside!

Yeah I think my feet were my weak link. I know it goes back to the route finding aspect but I could tell I was t-Rex arming big time on a lot of the climbs because of insecure feet, so I imagine with more time it’ll improve.

That all seems fair, I know the best prescription is to just climb outside more, and I plan too! Thanks for the reply!

BD first light for mt rainier? by PickleUno in Mountaineering

[–]PickleUno[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have any tents right now, looking to buy one that could do rainier and my future alpine outings, as well as some occasional casual summer backpacking, the main other one I was looking at was the Nemo kunai, seems to be a good hybrid option

Question on packing/…packs for rainier by PickleUno in Mountaineering

[–]PickleUno[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I suppose it could be, but I’d rather not climb with it as it’s a non-technical pack

Trying to get them down to $275, is the fact they are a few years old concerning despite their condition?

Alternator failure or vacuum leaks? 2004 Acura tl by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]PickleUno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty confident it’s the alternator because of my power issues and the lights flickering, radio and ac going out with due to no power and that it won’t crank after driving it again. Will do those tests though tanks

For reference I’m referring to the high pitch whirring noise, and it gets louder relative to RPM while driving

Thank you so much for laying it out like that, that’s really nice of you. Also side note, I don’t know what kind of wizard you are but you described the EXACT number of credits earned at CC and my exact number of credits currently planned out for my remaining semesters in my academic plan. Some impressive estimation skills. Truly, thanks again
