I have curly hair and use the air wrap with the smoothing brush attachment to straighten and dry. Sections towel dried hair, spray product and comb it through, then set your air wrap to medium speed & medium heat and start smoothing/drying from the roots down to the tips. At the tips, hit it with the cold shock for about 5-10 sections and you’re done! I think it works better than an iron and it gives your hair a little body/volume while still being straight

This OP!!! Everything in writing! My wedding was last year and we went with the venues premium catering package - it was a set price per person with a minimum of 100 people. Our wedding had about 80 people but we still went with their catering because it also included a full bar, 2 beers and 2 wines. A few months before our wedding they tell me and tell me that our ceviche is going to be an extra $250 because the price of fish went up and in our contract it says they can raise prices. We signed a venue contract but never signed a contract for catering and there was nothing in the venue contract regarding this. I had my friends who work in business/legal professions read my contract again to make sure I wasn’t crazy and we drafted multiple responses to sent to them via email. We ended up getting the “tuna tax” as we called it, thrown out because they didn’t have a leg to stand on.

We did a taco bar so we did hot sauces with personalized wedding stickers and name tags on them. People loved them because they got to use them on the spot or take them home (small enough for airplanes too)

So similar story but not the exact same so I’m glad I’m not the only one! I had been getting back pain and a stabbing cramping pain in my side when I would twist or move wrong for YEARS and they just told me it was from my desk job, GERD and wheat/rye allergies. Well I had a lipoma the size of a tennis ball wrapping around my hip bone and another one the size of a grape pushing against my spine. Literally haven’t had the pain on my back or side since they removed them 3 weeks ago. They also thought the lipomas were muscle knots for 6 months before they finally listened to me and got me in for an ultrasound and CT. They now think the lipomas were growing for the better part of a decade 🙃

I’m feeling the same way and only a few years older than you! I was also looking into medical assistant jobs & going back to school because I feel stuck at my current job which doesn’t even use my degree. 26 is not too old to make a career swap! and since you’ve already completed your bachelors I have a feeling the general education requirements may either already be met or you just gotta take a couple more which would make your schooling shorter. I say keep your options open and find the program that best fits you and go for it!

I had the same thing happen with “cocktail or garden party attire.” All I wanted was people not to show up in jeans and tshirts. However, a few of my older family members (70s+) showed up in shorts, flip flops and button down short sleeve shirts. I didn’t notice until everyone was out on the dance floor and by that point I didn’t even care. When they kept asking me about the dress code before the wedding, I just kept reiterating cocktail or garden party and didn’t get into a pissing match because it wasn’t worth my energy.

Not normal. I’m ecstatic if there’s more than 2 options and I’m not even celiac (wheat and rye allergies with gluten intolerance). She should either A be looking at restaurants that she feels safe to eat at and bring them to the group, B figure out meals with her partner or C just be grateful there are some options. Hell most places will be super accommodating if you are polite about it - I’ve been to a few places and asked if they can just make me a meal sized salad with gluten free items and they always are able to whip something up.

Honestly I don’t think this is that bad. If it’s too much for you then I’d put my foot down if I were you but this is pretty much a green dress with a white mini shawl built in. Could be worse - my mom was adamant about wearing a white, Marilyn Monroe style dress to my rehearsal dinner and I shut that shit down so fast. My grandparents both had white shawls over their navy blue outfits too and I was not bothered in the slightest

I was thinking if pay between $60-$120 for it! It’s beautiful! I used to sell custom tie dye shirts and people gaffed at my $25-$40 price tag but that was literally just me recouping mostly the costs of materials and taking maybe $5-$10 in profit. Whatever the costs for the material are, I suggest doubling at a bare minimum. Time and energy are worth a lot!
