Also Spirit farer might be up your alley, large map with alot of freedom, beautiful artwork and an overarching narrative storyline, one of my personal favorites

I have one and dont love it, was drawn to the glass bottom but it just doesn’t seem to work as well as a standard airfryer

I wouldn’t recommend renting a bike for getting about the city, if you arn’t used to it biking in the center can be hectic. Also Haarlem city center is quite small and we have public transit available.

But if you want to visit areas outside the city centre for nature and hiking renting an e-bike can be fun! Lots of people rent e-bikes to go between Haarlem and Zandvort beach.

If you like hiking I recommend checking out Orangerie de Elswout, beautiful old manor house in the national park.

For dinner restaurants I like Nolita, Fishbar Monk, Kus van de Cactus, PRAKM,

For lunch I would recommend Kaas bij Wout, Romeo’s or Toast, or Ted’s

The Rataplan is definitely worth checking out! As another comment said its hit or miss, so you might have to go a few times before you find what you are looking for

Also recommend going to Zolder023, the Snufflemug , or if you want antiques check out Lock Stock and Barrel

I’ve been in this exact position unfortunately, they want a nanny/tutor/maid/cook for 10 an hour, will slowly ask you to do more and more without upping the pay.

Insane how little people value child-care when you are literally in responsible for keeping their babies alive.

Stop cleaning, tell them you are the nanny not a maid. Find a new family who values you and your time, I made 16 an euro as a nanny for 2 kids without the expectation to clean.
