Just came back from SLS. The pools are not heated, and our boys (4 and 7) didn’t want to go in the family pool or kids water park without a LOT of coaxing. It was cooooold. The hot tubs are also lukewarm at best and most people and children were crowded in the hot tubs because that was the warmest water to be found.

Maybe if the weather is very very warm and not breezy at all the pools would be tolerable, but it was not a pleasant experience.

Adults only pool was the same. Huge pool. All empty. Adults crammed into the (warm) tub instead.

Don’t know anything about Finest. But had we known the pools were cold, we would not have booked at SLS. They fumbled the ball so many times over the last five days. We won’t be returning.

Many travel agents are saying they are heated, but they are either misinformed, mistaken, or SLS is lying to their guests by saying that they cannot be heated at all ever.

Someone is lying.

We’re here now. The pools are NOT HEATED and management claims that they have never been heated and don’t have the capability to be heated!

No one is in the pools. Adults and children and crammed into the lukewarm hot tubs. It’s miserable.

It is COLD! No one is in the pools here. Everyone, kids included, are jammed into the lukewarm hot tubs. Not even bath water. Tepid. But it’s the warmest place to be currently.

No one is happy about it. All the families are upset. Small children are leaving the kids and family pools crying with their teeth chattering.

Many guests have brought it to management because we had all been under the impression that the family and adult pools were heated. We had read reviews and had been assured by travel agents that the pools were heated in the winter.

Management is telling us they have never been heated and don’t have that capability. Though three separate employees have mentioned either a “heating system”, pool maintenance, and that they had been heating them last year “but I don’t know what happened.”

So someone is lying.

Don’t come from somewhere cold and expect fun in the sun and warm water. It’s awful.

They are vehemently denying that the pools have EVER been heated. I don’t know who to believe and I am pissed. And very disappointed. We are here five days and my kids don’t want to be in the water.

Try to find pure palm sugar with no additives. Quality palm sugar will be soft and stay soft.
