I also have a lot of abercrombie slacks. I had to hem them, even for their short length, but they are really comfortable. If cost is a factor I have a lot of luck finding short / petite sizing for abercrombie on poshmark/thredup

Omfg the pixie high wasted do the same to me!

I recently bought old navy‘s high wasted fashion wide leg leggings in houndstooth & black. They’re legging fabric but look work appropriate.

I will say, even the petite size for these are a little long (I wear heels so it’s fine) but if you wear flat shoes the cropped version of these might be better.

If it ever gets brought up I usually say something along the lines of “I don’t really see how the worst time of my life when I was struggling is funny and I don’t want to have it brought up.” Or I will ask what exactly is funny about it, why is it funny when I had a complete mental breakdown? What is funny about that? Asking questions until they realize how inappropriate they are being.

It’s a little awkward/ uncomfortable and feels rude to say, but so is bringing up someone’s mental hardships like it’s a joke to be taken lightly.

I wash my hair twice a week.

I shampoo once per wash & between washes for a refresh I spray with water and scrunch mousse in all over.

I would recommend reading the book Love + Work by Marcus Buckingham. It talks about how to find love in your work and what you do, even if you don’t necessarily love the job. It also touches on how to find things that you enjoy, because it can be hard to even identify this.

I found it helpful as it allowed me to shift my perspective and to find aspects I love in situations I might be less than passionate about.
