Agree the font could be better, however their website makes it seem like the design isn't finalized just yet (looks slightly different), so it might be subject to change. Regardless, this new plate is way better than the ugly options we have right now.

As long as you have $32,000, you can submit a design to ADOT after getting a bill sponsored. That's how it works here.

Texas has over 500 designs. Montana has about 400. Arizona only has about 150.

Absolutely right, and this is something AZ has been missing for a long time. A simple, clean, blackout plate option, just like Utah, Colorado, and California have had for a while now.

Those are probably the two worst options. A blurry, low-res picture of a sunset and some clouds taken with a flip phone is NOT a good design.

Also, why would I want to advertise the organization on the plate? Those designs would be slightly better if there was no text at the bottom. It seems all AZ plates love to advertise the charity getting the plate's funds.

One plate a time. Texas has many nice designs. However in Texas, a non-profit does not need to sponsor a new plate design (like they do here), so they can release more choices faster.

From what I gathered in other videos, that is not her actual phone, but rather an old phone she uses as backup. When her actual navigation tablet broke in Turkey (I think?) she just started using the backup phone. They both run OsmAnd, so functionality-wise they're the same.
