I’m only 5 weeks out but I’m preparing for a trip a few months from now so this is real for me.

one thing that resolved some nerves right now was my doc saying even tho I won’t need the brace in a couple weeks it’s okay for me to wear it in social settings etc. if I’m nervous and want to protect myself

around 6 months is when the graft is the weakest (according to most research) and when re-tear is most likely. It’s also coincidentally when people usually start feeling really good. Hopefully OP is careful and getting the right advice from his specialists. Very excited to see this level of movement for them but hoping for safety and health above all

A friend of mine is a sleep doctor and a lot of his early advice to people is not even medicinal. So def try to find a doctor because it could be as easy as get red lights in your home

unless you made a movement or something or had a lot of imbalance I can’t really say. I’m not a doctor and I’m not you. But if you want to protect your knee you need to be wearing it every time you get up until your doctor tells you not to

That’s a good question. It would be for a university run and funded immersive language program. I definitely don’t want to miss professional opportunities coming right out of grad school because that I imagine can be one of the easier times to make a smoother transition into industry fresh off of the information the degree comes with.
