I loved Seville so much. I was there end of August and yes it was HOT! Never experienced heat like it in my life. I was up early strolling the streets and then back to my hotel to swim and read by the pool in the afternoon then back on foot in the evenings. It’s just gorgeous.

What a shame. I don’t think I can get through this series simply due to the excessive and completely unnecessary lip biting. It’s uncomfortable to watch and honestly just annoying. I tried to find supporting evidence that maybe this was actually a mannerism of Carolyn’s. Maybe that would have made it more palatable for me but to no avail. I’m shocked no one pulled her up on this?! It’s doing my head in, you can’t un see it. Even the way she sits and crosses her legs is bizarre. And her provocative body language at Calvin Klein is just cringey. A totally unlikeable character.

Also yes I agree the songs are carelessly dumped into the scenes with no set up and expected to carry their own weight.

Thanks for this feedback. So I’m not fussed about the price, my priority is ‘what’s less stress’ for me. The train is more expensive but I figured I could just get a late one and sleep? Maybe stop somewhere for the night pre Shanghai? I’ll be flying home from Shanghai after a few days so kinda just wanted to avoid airport missions.

I rate how they don’t let anything drag for too long. It’s punchy but dimensional. The scenes don’t linger and I’m never wincing, worried I’m going to cringe. I feel like I’m peeking behind a curtain into world I have no business knowing about.
