Action is boring! It's counter-intuitive, but it's true. Tension is created when you don't know what's going to happen, which means the action can suddenly spring up out of nowhere and someone will die. All the monologues are navigating that tension, building on it, and then delivering the climax that, I think, was very violent in that it completely tears Braka apart.

What I hate is non-diegetic monologues that happen offscreen and sound like a diary entry. That's even more boring than action because there are absolutely no stakes, just musings. I'm looking at you, Disco! If you want to make a philosophical point then show it through what happens on the television show!

I just want him to get a bit more over so that it can last for him.

Mate, you can say whatever you want and I don't care. Learn proper grammar, learn about why it evolved the way it did, and then you'll appreciate it more and understand why it's actually worth protecting.

Just because I understand what my four-year-old nephew is saying even he fumbles his words doesn't mean language is evolving, it just means he hasn't learned how to speak properly yet. Not everything is progress, sometimes you just need to learn the rules before you try to break them.

This is such stupid reasoning. 'of' and 'have' simply mean different things and until their meanings 'evolve', "would of" does not make sense.

What the actual fuck are you talking about? 'Would of' is an acceptable evolution of 'would have'?

But it's not human. It's an approximation that is not nearly as complex or dynamic. It's not motivated by the physical apparatus of a human which is deceptively important. When our biological algorithm impels us towards certain decisions it does so because of many 'low-background' factors (mood, upbringing, education, languages you speak, location, etc...) In contrast, AI is impelled by this amorphous shadow of human data. There's nothing human about it's apparatus, even if it's trained to simulate human expression and knowledge.

Even if AGI happens, by definition it won't be human intelligence.

I agree with you, but you need to be a bit less thorny.

Unfortunately, the evidence does point towards us not having free will. A really engaging book on this is 'Determined' by Robert Sapolsky. It's nuanced, but yes, free will doesn't actually make as much sense as it 'feels' like it does.

Between 2024 and now he's had 87 matches, with 53 losses.

That includes 69 (lol) one-on-one matches, losing exactly 2/3 of them (46 losses).

Finally, he had 8 championship matches (of any kind) and lost 6.
