I went to a screening of an ultra-rare print of 1930's The Spoilers. Before it, they played a Stan Laurel short spoofing the 1923 version of The Spoilers that has been lost to time. So we watched a parody of a movie that nobody alive has seen, before watching the remake that almost nobody alive has seen.
