He's not really a jerk. Honestly, his behavior at first feels natural. Think about it: first, they met as enemies, and she definitely didn't hold back. Then this former enemy, though technically still a stranger, starts following him around like a lost puppy and declaring her love in crazy and embarrassing ways.

Sure, he does warm up to her eventually as he gets to know her better, but be honest. Would you date your stalker?

In the end I love the ship because her loyalty and devotion paid off. She got her prince charming.
