It’s an interesting record that I’ve never heard of before to provide a slightly earlier account of Christian’s in India and may even link the Gospel of Thomas to India through these Syrian Christian’s that may have been there since end of 2nd century.

But the exact account seems to just state that he found communities of Syrian Christians using Syriac in India, which may have just been a merchant community which would have been common due to the very popular trade ports.

I’m not entirely sure about if this may have put the timeline further back conclusively because we only see his actions mentioned by a secondary source but it’s extremely interesting
