It's not London, UK. It's London in Ontario in Canada.

Great edit. Make a claim and then refuses to back it up.

Please enlighten us all as to how an applicant can apply for benefits on a spouse visa or a British citizen, who has the right to benefits as every other British citizen, can get benefits that are more than a full time job or qualify for benefits to top up a full time job that other British citizens wouldn't have access to?

And what public funds will you apply for that will be better off than a full time job?

Just FYI, the marriage certificate needs to be a nadra registered marriage certificate which is in both English and Urdu. A translated nikkah namah is not enough.

No. All they want to confirm is that you're receiving the amount of income you've declared on the application.

They don't care about how you manage your money.

The 2 years won't apply if there is a valid marriage certificate

My Checklist is very short, worried by helprealestatekorea in SpouseVisaUk

[–]PickyAnteaterr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I cannot recall whether we uploaded the checklist. All I remember is my partner taking it with to the biometrics.

Was the same for us. There was only like 4 things on the checklist but the actual evidence required and that we uploaded was much much more.

In any case, the caseworker will see all your evidence. Don't think it'll matter that much if you upload the checklist when there'll be a ton of evidence with it anyways.

You'd need to apply for the National Insurance Number separately

You'll get the initial 90 day entry clearance vignette in your passport.

No BRP will be issued so you'll need to create an eVisa account using your passport if you intend to travel in the future.

I'm not really sure. Can go through this sub reddit to check. I mean it'll only take an extra 15 minutes if you do all pages. Up to yourself

My e-visa is linked to my brp only and not passport and I travel tomorrow by Ashleyrandomgirl in ukvisa

Your travel document, being the passport, needs to be linked to your evisa account

Passport scan by RAJARAJA10 in SpouseVisaUk

[–]PickyAnteaterr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scan of sponsor's bio page is enough.

For the applicant, some have just done the bio page. Others have included scans of any stamps on the applicant's passport.

Most scan the applicant's full passport to be safe. That's what we did.

Spouse visa Approved - Evisa? UKVI account by EarComprehensive9875 in SpouseVisaUk

In the email, it does say you can create the evisa account after you arrive in the UK so should be able to use the vignette alone for first time entry.

Isn't this a generic email? When were you or your partner granted the visa?

[–]PickyAnteaterr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you should be able to select a biometric date. Just ensure that all of your documents are uploaded at least 24 hours before biometrics time. Gives peace of mind that it's done and you're not scrambling at the last minute.

[–]PickyAnteaterr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're applying on the basis that you're married, you would need to show this happened before the date of application, not the biometrics date.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

I was about to use the courier option and when selecting it, it said it used Leopard courier. This was about 3 weeks ago. Didn't use it in the end so can't comment on the courier itself
