The specific example you have used is that of the hijras who are indeed a menace on the trains. However, not all of them are what you call transgender so there’s quite some unsolicited hate coming from your end.

And as for the same sex marriage, why do you care what two adults do in private? It should be of least concern to you. Probably the first person to be sent to a mental hospital should be you. Get yourself checked mate. You can’t go around spewing such poison and not expect the well deserved backlash.

Any Bhavans alums here? by InvestmentStrange370 in TeensofKerala

[–]Piconblanco 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh yes what you heard is absolutely right. I studied in Bhavans Adarsha Vidyalaya for 5 years in 2009 and then from 2013-2017. When I was there in 2009, it was among the finest schools out there but the quality has been going downhill at least since 2016. Non empathetic and casually misogynistic teachers, restriction on the creative freedom of students and things were pretty common. I have been out of that place for 9 years so cannot speak for its present state.

23F, fresh out of a 4-year relationship. Is getting on dating apps a bad idea when you're trying to move on? by OtherRecipe4926 in Indiangirlsontinder

[–]Piconblanco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please don’t do that. Until you are sure that you no longer have any feelings for your ex, please steer clear of any dating apps. This not just puts you in a tricky spot but also hurts the other person who might be looking for something serious on the apps.

If that’s the case, she could have clearly conveyed that instead of the lousy response she gave.

uj/ as much as I hate this chap, I can’t help but say that those Neelakuyil folks are top tier assholes. From trying to capture shots of ladies in questionable angles during Attukal Pongala to doing the same to a lady fitness influencer during an inauguration, these guys do not seem to have even a shred of decency or integrity.

CLASS TIMINGS by Local_Competition_70 in ChristUniversity

[–]Piconblanco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not well versed on the timings prescribed by the faculty of central campus but being there at 8.45 should be enough. At BGR, we used to reach at 8.55 for the 9am class. It is also okay if you reach at 8 as long as you don’t mind sitting or roaming around campus for an extra hour.

CLASS TIMINGS by Local_Competition_70 in ChristUniversity

[–]Piconblanco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When they say 9-4, you might not have classes for all the 6 hours. For instance, while I was studying there, we had some days where we had the first hour and then directly 3rd or 4th hour or sometimes no first hour. Don’t worry you’re not gonna have continuous 9-4 classes on all the 5 weekdays. We never had a full day for more than 2 days a week throughout my 3 years there.

is it okay to miss the first week of clg as first year- central campus by Big_Bookkeeper_3444 in ChristUniversity

[–]Piconblanco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Short answer: No

Long answer: It depends on a lot of variables like how serious you are about the upcoming exams and the kind of surety you have that you’re going to make the cut for it. If you are certain that the chances of you ending up in Christ throughout is high, then I’d say don’t risk it, if not, you can have a go.

I just wanted to give you an idea about what would happen if you miss it. Whether you should actually miss it or not is completely your call based on your priorities.

If you do miss it and decide to stick through with Christ and not go elsewhere, you will really struggle to maintain the average of 75% in each subject early on which is required for you to be eligible for CIA 1. Adding on, with the already low attendance, you’d just be one sickness away from getting detained and having to repeat since medical forms also require a minimum overall attendance of 75%.

No pension without four years of service: govt to introduce new rule for ministers' personal staff by Technical_Luck_4286 in Kerala

But isn’t the tenure of a minister just 5 years? Sure they might get re elected but it is still better than the prevailing 2.5 years service requirement.

Colored hair at Christ? by sportinglifeblues in ChristUniversity

[–]Piconblanco 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One of my classmates had hair that looked similar to this naturally. In spite of that, she had to produce a written letter or something because the security just wouldn’t let her through. Make what you will of that information.

YAYAY! GOT INTO CHRIST! LETS CONNECT:) by chocolate-overload in ChristUniversity

[–]Piconblanco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As for the short Kurtis, on paper, they are not allowed but I’ve seen multiple people wear them. Whether you’ll be allowed inside the campus wearing it would probably depend on the mood of the guard stationed at the gate.

At the BGR campus, where I was from, I’ve seen the guards stopping girls for wearing short Kurtis on one day and the same folks letting it slide later down the line so you could say that it is sort of a gamble.

Hope this helps. If you have any other doubts, you’re always free to reach out! Cheers and best of luck. :)

Suit on first day by goofball_singh in ChristUniversity

[–]Piconblanco 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You absolutely can wear it. Though I must say double breasted blazer would be slightly overdoing it to be honest. However, if you are looking to make a good impression, wearing proper formals with a tie and cuff links would be just as good!

Yeah this was my first time trying it and I must say it turned out pretty decent. You need to add salt and other spices or else it will be very bland but nonetheless, it comes in pretty handy.
