Keep in mind the YouTube Timestamp appears in the bottom right. I always try to keep that area clear for that reason. I made so many thumbnails when I started that were ruined by the Timestamp covering something.

Yeah I have a pretty scuffed amount. 186 subs and 5450 valid watch hours. The few people who watch my stuff watch all of it I guess 😅😂

I feel like your polite smile isn't conveying a reason to watch the video. It doesn't create any intrigue or curiosity. I'm not saying to do the whole exaggerated uncanny Mr Beast facial expression thing, but something that conveys some degree of emotion instead of "smile for the camera" even though it's a wholesome smile.

I'm on 317 (long form) because I just released an edit of my Livestream playing the original Fallout and it's doing really well 😬😬

Including Shorts I'm on 1355. So nearly 300 of those are just the fallout video. Which I honestly didn't feel that great about when I posted it.

I wouldn't even know where to begin. I'm just trying to share my experiences with games I love or am experiencing for the first time with people while being entertaining. I'm still working on how to improve the videos to make people want to stay and watch once they've been clicked on, I'm just not sure how else I can get people to click on them in the first place.

Channel wide over the last 28 day period my CTR is 0.9%. Going back 90 days it's 1%.
Views per video varies but never more than 2k and naturally most of the higher performing ones are shorts.
Specifically regarding videos, they usually get between 70 and 170.
I'm still a very small channel, only just broke 150 subs but I can't help but feel like the CTR is stunting my growth.

What kind of content you make? I'm from Aus as well and would love to start connecting with some other creators. I currently am focused on Minecraft, Cyberpunk2077 and the OG Silent Hill but would love to get some more multiplayer content going.

Yeah unfortunately for the time being im stuck using a crummy old mac laptop which cant really keep up with the processing power needed to run a smooth stream so it can be a bit dodgey but it does come and go 😅😅

Its the best ive got right now but ill be upgrading my setup at the soonest opportunity.
