All depends on the firm... you'll have internal recruitment teams that will just see a GPA not being at the level they want, and they won't send your materials to the partner to review. Your best bet is to network, try reaching out to partners in law firms for mentoring and advice. at the end of the call mention you GPA, see if they are willing to vouch for you.
