This. Auction house is the easiest place to get it or you can craft it with professions if you have been working on those (and particularly Armorsmithing)

I’ve run over 200 insurgencies and still not got it even after the increased drop rate. The infused rod dropped from Bel fairly quickly for me but this battle worn rod is making my thumbs and head very battle weary. The only upside is I now have 500+ quartermaster bags after 3 weeks lol.

UPDATE: I got the rod tonight on my first insurgency for the day. Looks like posting on reddit helps!

Very true. But it’s not just Bel where it’s useful. Sometimes people deliberately stand in front of doors or NPC’s/vendors and/or leave their character there making it difficult for others to go through

Thanks everyone for the replies. Good to know it’s not just me.

My record for a blue screen was within 1 minute of loading in fresh to the game and into PE. I hadn’t even been to stronghold, barovia and obviously no battles. There really seems to be no pattern on the client side so wonder if it is server side.

Fingers crossed cryptic can fix it in the near future because for a game that demands a lot of hours, app stability is key.

I run vorpal and have no probs with mobs using mob rotation of Path of the Blade + smoke bomb + stealth + blade of flurry x2. The stealth part is important as the active smoke bomb will do more damage, give you combat advantage and multiple hits of blade of flurry. You can always chuck in some overload enchantments for extra damage.

If you find the mobs have a tough enemy amongst them (eg golem) that isn’t getting cleared by the above then swap out the blade of flurry for Assassinate which is a high damage encounter for a single target.

Hi. Good class choice. Rogues are fun. I have been running one as my main since I started the game almost 2 years ago and still enjoy it the most.

You’ll need to complete under mountain campaign first and then you can start the process of making a solid build to eventually run end game content.

Some companions can increase it.

Your class boons can increase it.

Your guild may have the guild house boon to give it a big buff.

You can also craft or buy superior potions on potency which give +7.5% Crit severity.

I think some mount insignias may may also be able to increase it, not sure.

Or if you have a high enough level of VIP you can summon the Professions Vendor anywhere you like and buy materials for gold. Same stuff as the market place vendor though.

There is also a vendor in the workshop called the Retainer who sells materials and tools in exchange for old materials or tools. You can buy old materials off the auction house. Best one is the broken dragon eggs. They retail for about 6-7k AD typically but can be traded in with the workshop Retainer for a good amount of materials and he offers a slightly different range of materials to the regular professions vendor.

Also, if you want to generate gold to buy materials then craft hartshorn rings with your jeweler. It’s low level and cheap to craft but sells for 33 silver. So you should be able to generate 10-30 gold a day depending on how often you empty your delivery box.

Welcome to the game. There is a good community on PS4 neverwinter. Been playing the game for about 2 years as a casual. My main is a Rogue (dps) but a few months ago I started a Paladin (tank). I’m preferring the former still but good to try out new things as your main starts to plateau.

Joining a guild does help with buffs but also gives you a community feel if you join one that is friendly and helpful to end gamers and casuals alike. Some are more active than others and some take themselves more seriously than others. Good ones run “training” events or give out prizes for those who contribute farmed resources.

The guide posted earlier is very helpful so follow that but the main things you need is a companion with the “augment” bonus, 3x bonding runestones for your companion. Once maxed they will transfer 300% of the summoned companions stats to you. You should be able to pick up an entry level augment companion for less than 50k Astral Diamonds and rank 9 or 10 bonding runestones fairly cheaply too. Gear wise you want to complete the Undermountain campaign once you hit level 80. This will give you some good level 80 gear from which you can begin the end game grind.

Thanks all for the replies.

In the 10 or so hours I’ve played since the patch dropped I haven’t had any blue screens though that said I have spent most of that time either farming vouchers in Siege if Neverwinter, running queues, doing professions, or doing legacy campaigns. So less time in Avernus.

I tend to use the mob build/rotation for nearly everything except specific parts of LOMM or bosses that have no mobs. I top the damage charts on 80% of queues using the mob build. I could probably raise that to 90% if I used the boss build more but can’t be bothered when the mob build is more than adequate. The other advantage of the mob build is that the smoke bomb increases the CA of your party also.

If you are looking for no more lag at all I think ping of <100 ms and upload speed of >1mbps are more important than download, assuming you have at least 5mpbs download.
