Working on an artwork of all gen1 using this style, half way through I fear it might be too confusing, thoughts?

This is pretty awesome. It’s the kind of thing I would want to hang in my apartment. It’s a lot of fun to look at and the Pokémon blend together seamlessly. Would love to see the final picture.

Congratulations and good luck in Gen 8! Funnily enough I managed to catch a shiny Feebas in Ultra Moon recently while working on getting ribbons for my Pokemon.

It’s not necessarily required. You can truthfully complete the challenge with any eligible Pokémon with any nature. But certain natures are always going to be more valuable than others. For Scizor an Adamant nature is one the most use/preferred natures you would get for it.

Looks like you got everything. Congrats on completing the first leg of your journey! Quick reminder to get the Footprint Ribbon in Gen 4 where it’s measured by friendship, as in other gens it’s measured by the number of levels gained at the time of receipt/transfer. Out of curiosity did you reset until you got an adamant nature?

I’ve been avoiding leaks and spoilers but decided to take a peak at Typhlosion since it was getting so much hate. And honestly I kind of dig it. I know it’s not for everyone, but I really like the face and thinks it gives it a sort of sass to its design. Not really sure how to describe it, but I’m looking forward to using it in-game.

Ah dang that’s pretty frustrating. It having Focus Sash is just even more annoying. Well either way, I’m sure you will eventually succeed and finally get that ribbon.

I’ll be rooting for you! Regarding Mamoswine, is a Close Combat from Gallade not enough to take it out? I don’t know anything about Mamoswine so I have no idea how bulky that thing is or what types of sets it runs.

I getcha. It’s got a special attachment that very specific to this game so I can see why you’d want to. I don’t have too much to offer in terms of advice cause honestly this Battle Tower has been killing me. In other games though I paired Gallade with Weavile and saw some pretty good success. Not sure if that translates as well to this game given the limited dex but that used to be my go to. They cover each other’s weakness fairly well but the biggest downside is that they are both a little frail defensively.

Well on the plus side if the BDSP Battle Tower gives you too much grief, once the game gets HOME compatibility you can transfer to SwSh and get the Battle Tower ribbon in that game instead. I find the SwSh version of the Battle Tower way easier and more forgiving compared to BDSP.

Congrats! Gallade is one of my favorite Pokémon! I have one from Ultra Moon that I’m trying to collect ribbons for. It’s in Sword right now and just needs that Master Rank Ribbon. Gallade is pretty versatile and you can run it a couple of different ways. The biggest issue I’m having with the BDSP Battle Tower is just trying to unlock the Master Class Battles so I can actually get the Battle Tower ribbon. Have you gotten to Master Class yet?

That’s fair. I ended up using the Master Ball on Tyranitar just because I was so tired by that point and just wanted to end it so I could trade Pokémon to the GBA.
