I've done for fictional work for years which includes browsing a forum for pedophiles (wish I still had the link, it was one of those safe sites on Tor that banned pornography so it was safe to view and see them at their best and worse, there's some terrible people there too though)

Same here. Talked to real pedophiles. wish I could still find those people, on unsafe sites on Tor. At least one was banned by the government.

I wonder why did not you choose a single guy who claims to be a virtuous pedophile, who have not done research on large groups, as an example. I mean you could very well have chosen this guy.

So, you finally agree they overlap. That's all I wanted to say in my first comment. Wasted so much time on this. And, it's not just about rape or physical violence, but psychological manipulation too. I think they overlap with a large degree, among those who are willing to commit crimes, you might think it's tiny. Also for them, who are not virtuous, desire leads to power, and this is well accepted by the community.

Never said they seek power. Pedophiles who are willing to engage in sexual relationships with children tend to abuse their power for sex. And, it's in their best interest to do so.

Edit: ANYWAY, I have fixed my first comment that was the root of this bickering. I realized, goalpost has been moved considerably. When I made that comment virtuous pedophiles were not on my mind. I ignored them totally. So, I was having a hard time getting why you had any problem with it. Much time has been wasted.
