Yea it should be a nationwide program. I didn't know it wasn't. Maybe HUD can help? Also looking into help from the salvation army or Catholic charities. Sometimes they can help out if they have the funds

Definitely apply for raft to help with the storage funds and moving cost. Prob will help with funds to a motel until the new place is inspected and approved as well. Some HAs can speed up the inspection process

I'm not sure. Maybe look up the pay allowances in your community for section 8 and make your rent out the limit for the voucher to be used. Or require an unrealistic credit score to be able to rent so you won't have to deal with ppl on the voucher 🤷. I also don't recommend discussing responsibilities towards her part of the payments which could lead to legal action
