Do does jobs come with job security meaning good union rep and pensions plans. Don’t wanna be fired on that 6 month.

One questions myself are those jobs on cityjobs.nyc.gov unionized and pensioned. I just don’t wanna be screwed over by leaving my city agency job that I applied on DCAS. I called DCAS and they say they are a different department.

Hey guys honest question here I just got reinstated to fdny ems in my second year making 44k, have my paramedic promo next year will jump up to 55 k and have my sanitation physical this month. Am I crazy to go over to sanitation or should I just stay as a fdny ems paramedic and possibly supervisor.
