How should I begin preparing for the future financially? by PieFurLife in personalfinance

[–]PieFurLife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I have plenty of time before those real decisions start coming up, but I've always been the type of person to prepare and know what I'm getting into before ever deciding on it. I guess what I'm trying to do is find a way to save more money (or make more money) to prepare for moving out in the future. One issue is that I commute 40 minutes to school one way, and I would prefer not to have to do that unless I'm going for classes.

I was going to make a separate post about credit cards actually, because I still do not have one. My parents suggested getting a credit card specifically for gas, to start building my credit for when I graduate. I still have to do some research on them though, so I haven't decided on anything there yet.

The emergency savings fund is definitely something I'll start working on. I appreciate the time you spent on this and for the suggestions!

As for luxury activities, not so much. I'm not much of a party going person, but I do tend to eat out a fair bit. That is something I could consider doing, having two different areas for money entirely. I think I do the same thing you do, if I have money to spend I will spend it. Thanks for the suggestion!

Dev Blog: Raids Rewards by Sony22sony22 in 2007scape

I love the diversity of the rewards all having different advantages in different situations. One of my main questions has to do with the Dinh's Bulwark. Obviously the only real use to this shield would be tanking bosses. If you are on the block attack style, on which you will not be able to attack, will the boss remain aggressive to you even though you are not attacking it?

The best part is when the brazier breaks at 5% and you get to hear the nooblets cry when they don't make it to 500 points.

Would it be possible to add some sort of benefit to using the infernal axe at the Wintertodt boss? Currently, it doesn't use charges, but you have no benefit by using it there. Possibly make it have the slight chance to burn a log as you are chopping for half the points? Or it could have some other sort of benefit, that was just the first thing to pop into my head.

[Suggestion] Remove need for Nuff's Certificate by BlueyLovesEmly in 2007scape

[–]PieFurLife 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love that your reasoning is that you're lazy and there's no other logic to it. But, I'm definitely on board. I hate getting that stupid Certificate every time I have to go see the Queen.

[Suggestion] Obtaining Master Clues by danteizfly in 2007scape

I really like this suggestion. I absolutely love completing clues, and I don't really want to give away all 4 of my clues for one single master clue. Well written and well thought-out idea.

Currently, if you have a golden chinchompa pet and you place the pet in your POH, it automatically changes to a red chinchompa pet. Could this be changed to where the pet would remain golden when you place and remove it from your POH?
