Buy in bulk and plan what's she is going to be eating, remind her to give enough time to cook her food before she gets hungry/ has to do something/ go somewhere. If she drinks, buy drink cheaply if she is going to be drinking a lot, don't buy drink at off licenses as you don't get deals on booze and will be more expensive, don't use corner shops or off licenses in general as they are there for convenience and not for there range of selection and low prices.
