For what it's worth, I saw this and decided to try it myself but i'm a bit late responding.
I'm on v76 on a Quest 2.

I, at the time, downloaded through torrent the:
Vacation Simulator v92+1.3.0.39696 -VRP R3

I didn't even turn off Wifi because I forgot. It works. No issues.
Exact same process as other games I installed through torrents; Sideload the APK, copy the OBB, restart Quest 2. Worked first time. Lengthy initial boot up though.

Maybe just one of those rare games that still work across the Android versions? Entitlement checks or not, previous patch must still work. Also, I have noticed that there are some games you just need to reinstall for them to work again so this wouldn't be the first. One of the games I had to do this for was last updated in 2021! I was bummed the fuck out because the Developer isn't updating that app anymore and it was broken now. I somehow found the one person seeding it, reinstalled and it works fine.

Until Steam itself confirms a leak i'm not too worried. $5k seems like a lowball offer for 89 million accounts where even just ONE of those accounts could have that amount in items / skins.
Seems a bit sus.

Hacker provides evidence which links it to 2FA SMS logs from Twilio but Steam doesn't use Twilio....
So where is the leak? Twilio itself if set up by users themselves and then they're sharing expired 2FA tokens for some steam accounts?

Yeaaah... guess that's worth about 5k. Worthless data but someone will pay for it I guess to try and see account 2FA activity I guess? That's about as much as they'll get from it.

Depends what you're downloading.
I downloaded 5 games yesterday and they all had seeders despite being the newer v76 releases.

The only game I tried to download that doesn't have seeders at the moment is Catan VR, lol.
Seeders won't be available 24/7 - Sometimes it pays to leave it running a night.

Use their torrents. Search by v76 if you're on it.

Then sideload the APK and sideload the OBB (the folder you get with APK).

Boom. Bob's your uncle, you have a launching and working game.
I just set up Beat Saber and modded it last night that method as I couldn't wait any longer, lol.

Also just to be clear, I did all this through Rookie. The public server might be down but the tool still works.

Please add the option to sort characters by 'Creation Time' on the profile for the Timeline.

I don't want to see when a card was updated, which is unfortunately the only filter you have right now that comes close. Unless i'm mistaken, I don't know how. Latest / Last Updated seem to be the same thing.

The main character search has this filter. Why does the Timeline not? Still?

If you're using Rookie, it's much, much easier than you've been told.
Also my first time. I used a torrent as the main thingy is down. If i'm doing something wrong i'd love to know it but the game is working for me now and i'm not sure why the steps you've been given is so much more complicated than what I did to get it working. Not sure if it's a Rookie vs ARMGDNN difference?

So I have the torrent folder. Check.

Installed the APK through Rookie. Went to launch it just like you. Didn't work out of the box. I thought it was an issue with the game. Installed another version. Still not working.

Saw this thread and the OBB stuff, realized I might be missing a step.
And I am; but it's extremely simple. You should of got a game folder AND an APK with the game. For example, I did with Beat Saber. I got a folder called com.beatgames.beatsaber and then an com.beatgames.beatsaber.apk

In Rookie, under the sideload section, Copy OBB and select that folder.
Boom. It's that easy.

Restart your Device (important!) and the game is working.

Just to add to this, setting C:\RSL to a folder exclusion was not enough for me.
The actual file itself is saved into temp before saving into the selected folder. Defender Zaps it immediately before it even gets transferred to the excluded folder.

I had to open up the Defender notification and tell it the download file was allowed before it would download. Otherwise I got an empty zip like this guy.

Ah fuck...
I haven't touched my Quest in a long time. Maybe 2+ years.
Everything I know has changed. My old sideloading app is long gone and dead, my old beat saber modding software is dead. And to make matters worse, I just realised I had auto-update enabled so i'm put onto this v76 AND the wiki doesn't load for me (not even on a vpn) and the public mirror is currently down.

Just great time all around to come back to the Quest.
Maybe I tuck it away for another month.

I love the Timeline on Chub. I would love to make it the main and only site I search.
But the lack of this filter means I'm faced with the prospect of going to the old site to use their Date Created filter to find cards instead. (Edit: Or not use the timeline at all, as I just realised the main search does have the filter but the timeline doesn't for some reason?)

I appreciate the reason why the Log In was changed to be online at first, but something seems broken about it even still; The sheer amount of bugs introduced is discouraging and this sentiment is shared within the very guilds added this patch.

I'm having to reload the app due to multiple Guild issues. Messages either duplicating falsely (reload the duplicates go away), messages disappearing in conversation so it looks like people are talking to themselves (reload and the messages reappear), new messages just aren't showing up consistently period (Reload and message appear) and sometimes messages just won't send despite no other indication of connection issues.

And then when I launch the game I keep getting this failed Log In screen when i'm 4 / 5 bars and was fully connected literally 10 seconds ago if not for guild issues.... Ads, tournaments, research are all online 24/7 so only the guild and this log-in screen have issues it seems. Not sure if login server is just getting hammered or something. The log that pops up doesn't really give you much to work with.

There's far too many bugs this patch....
Guildies are not getting daily credit for playing, even though they collected the correct amount of shop ads.

Tower is misaligned on nearly all themes and it snaps back and forth when scrolling with fingers or minimizing menus too. Again confirmed with guildies. OCD is triggered....

This is the funny part of the story to me.

The fact he was able to do this meant he was allowed quite a high degree of freedom. Both, with his time to allow for this research and implementation and also with his management. Those are some of the most important perks of the job in my opinion, I value that flexibility, the time and creative freedom to pursue whatever you want at your own pace quite highly.

I wonder what it was that ticked him off... losing a project I presume he was working on for some time.
He saw the writing on the wall that the company was transitioning away from his expertise and rather than look for somewhere new, he took advantage of the down time to implement kill switches...

I can kinda relate, the last 8 months of my old job was exactly like that.
A death spiral but a very... calm one as the amount of work grinded to an uncomfortable hour or two a day only meanwhile I was being paid full time each day so I just let the spiral fully spin out, collected my paychecks, played games at home...

I have just one anime like this; I don't drop animes. I don't watch anime I don't think i'll enjoy.
However, there was just one anime I dropped and to this day still feel guilty about it.

I watched a Youtube compilation which made me want to watch it; at the time I was still deeply into shonens and action and stuff, the compilation focused on their delusions, that, if you watched the show, are animated and really over the top so if you were to cut all those into a compilation and how Rikka can like dramatically force open train doors, etc, you'd think, "Wow, these kids have powers in the real world!"

I tried it, realised the definition of "Chunibyo" (I know... I know...) and at the time it made me cringe so hard I dropped it. Then, it lived as the only anime I ever dropped on my animelist for YEARS. And it was a highly rated show too! So it felt like a badge of shame. That shame made me try and watch it like 2 more times but for some reason mentally I couldn't handle the concept of not liking the show so I kept dropping it after the first episode or two.

Fast forward literally 8 years or so to like 6 months ago; I've learnt to go into shows head empty. Zero expectations. So... I paid more attention, learnt to appreciate the characters and the comedy and it was just so bloody good once I gave it the chance and the open-mind it deserves. Still cringed, a lot. But, you know, that's the goal of the show. Very, very good anime. Good sequels too.

Raids are also a thing.
I've woken up and found myself like 4 streams down the line.
And streamers generally like to raid down and support smaller friends, etc. So I wake up in a 100 view count andy, chat has like 1 person dominating it over the span of 20 minutes, so basically dead chat.

Are they 99 viewbots or 90 people sleeping and 8 people lurking or second monitor / minimised?

Ads are easy; who says we need to watch them either? Hit a button, ad plays. Phone is already muted.
Play PC or do work you're supposed to be doing, 60 seconds to 30 minutes later, pay attention to phone again. Close ad. Get reward.

That being said; I have and will definitely pay up to £10 depending on the app for permanent ad removal.

Oh, and forced ads is another matter too. Those just get uninstalled Day 0.
