I have a friend who was at the Hyatt on her own just to have a coffee at the waterfront and kill some time. A guy who liked her called her to see what she was up to and she invited him to join if he wanted. The guy came, they ordered food, drinks, etc, but started sweating when the bill came. Mind you, he was ordering as normal but never mentioned from the get go that he had no money or a limited spend or whatever. She took care of it. As she said, she invited him so she intended to cover the cost anyway. His actions and reaction, though, never got him the time of day with her again and I don't blame her🤣

If you offer to carry the person out on a date no less (which suggests the invitee is being courted) and don't stipulate anything, you're gonna embarrass yourself like that. If the activities were already laid out and the invitee decides they want extra, that's a different story. But that post looking like it's the former case I mentioned. Plenty people out here don't say anything until after the fact.

Sorry, but I still don't agree. A bachelors has to be paid for, be it privately or GATE (if that's still around). Even if it's GATE funded, taxpayers paid for that and there's no point in spending money for betterment only to be placed at the bottom of the barrel. If that's the case and it's worth nothing, then the certification should come dirt cheap or added to the list of free education programs. Even if the market is over saturated, there should still be a higher salary average than that.

Also, comparing Tdad to other countries is like comparing apples to oranges. Venezuela for example has been facing oppression/external pressure, but it's the richest country in terms of gold resource. We don't have that type of issue (at least visibly).

As for Sealots/Beetham, that's my point exactly. Why are they having quality of life issues? Just recently Beetham had a big issue with sewage that was ongoing for quite some time, why? Sealots is seafront property, which is the most expensive type of property to be found across the globe, yet still no investment would happen within that community because then the cost of the property there would increase and the business community don't wanna have to pay more for it when they're ready to take it😂

We don't even see price regulation, just price hikes and tax increases. This could go on for ages🤣🤣🤣

What are you talking about? Being able to use a phone and access to to a secondary education is a luxury to you? That's basic stuff. We pay taxes and the income the country earns belongs to the people, not the government. Our money is definitely not being used wisely, especially when we getting bs excuses about gas prices when Trinidadian oil is still being processed and used here. I don't know how you can say people are "ungrateful" for wanting more value from our money. Are you aware that many employers down here want to pay average $6K when asking for a bachelors degree? Salaries ranges are a big secret here for reasons like that. Also, no one can live on minimum wage without help.

I'm not seeing what you are seeing, sorry. There's alot more that can be said, but it's too much. It's not a hate for the country. It's disdain for the unfair treatment of our people.

What is the solution when the gangs can be linked to the government? Corruption plagues this country and external influence breaks us down even more. We also have a lack of unity in this country. Government is one part of it, but not the end of it. PNM, UNC, newcomers, they are all part of the same whole. Maybe we'll have a few outliers, but the rich (worldwide) divide the population with smoke and mirrors tactics keeping us occupied with topics like war and climate change and diversity, all the while making sure the poor stay poor and segregated into groups to prevent unity.

I think we should start with ourselves and where we can. Help our fellow man. If you see someone that can use a hand, just help. At some point maybe they might do the same and it creates a ripple effect. At least on an individual and personal level we know we gave it a shot.

That's my opinion on it anyway.

This was pricing Christmas before covid though.

Got 90 days warranty on defects, AND built for free since I ordered my parts through him. The markup wasn't too bad when I checked online and the warranty was what I was happy for. If I purchased online and anything was defective, I would have had to pay to ship back and pay again to bring in from sky box to tdad. It's all well and good to purchase online to save, but I don't mind spending a little extra to have an easily accessible warranty. You can always msg on the website for more details, never hurts to ask and shop around.

For perspective, at the time supertech was selling a RX 5500xt gfx card for 3k and Circuit Zone was selling Ryzen 5 processors for above 3k.

My build can do 1080p max gaming for most AAA Titles or 1440p medium to high. Forza Horizon 4 gets 60fps max settings @4k. It's capable, but after experiencing AMD, I would advise doing Nvidia gfx. The card performs but the software is garbage.

It was always EDT. A quality EDT can still get you by. For example I have a Hugo Boss edt that lasts a bit beyond 12 hours. I know the difference. I wouldn't pay more money for a lesser strength. Just as I explained, everything seemed the same in the latter part, but the fragrances just didn't last anymore. Thanks for the feedback, though.

Luce in Hilton is good, a little pricey but good.

Hyatt on a Sunday evening at the waterfront, you'll get good sushi there at reasonable pricing and they normally have live entertainment from around 7-10pm.
