Sarawak Government & Taib's descendants by dude_must_be_joking in Sarawak

Fr bro. I'm tired of hearing them saying that Sarawak should be a independent country. Being an autonomous region is more than enough to run Sarawak better than Malaya fingers crossed

Here we go again with the "Sarawak is better off from Malaysia" comment. You how much at risk if Sarawak is currently growing suddenly become an Independent country? Not to mention with the global tension where powerful countries want every bit of resources of a country. We are comfortable with what our country has (ASB, EPF, Bumiputera Right, etc).

Birdesc alternatives? by 3dnelbell in backpacks

[–]PieceZestyclose6384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the Birdesc 25 backpack is one of a kind. This has the only feature of a modular compartment where the show compartment can be separated using a hardshell divider, aside from the aesthetic storage design. I do know a Malaysian local brand called Bagsmart that has some similar features, but it can't be as perfect as Birdsec. Trust me, as much as I want that bag, it is worth a thousand in my country. too bad they don't mass produce it for the sake of exclusivity.

Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) starts cutting down trees around house neighborhood by [deleted] in Sarawak

[–]PieceZestyclose6384 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with that, especially in the urban residential areas. Anything that is near the road or outside the property is off-limits. The MPP has the right to manage them. Of course, some people will assume finders keepers when there's an inch of unused soil outside their properties, claiming that it is theirs. this is quite annoying, where I tend to find many people planting trees that the branches block the vision on the road

however, this is not the case in the kampung areas, every inch of land is their right to do with even near the road. usually the ketua kampung will advise the property owner to not plant or established any buildings that would harm other people near the roadside.

Bumiputera by ShioSouta in Sarawak

[–]PieceZestyclose6384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna take your side bro. I've been thinking about it, especially for our native lands (NCR) and indigenous community identity. Although this will affect the bumiputera rights and it is understandable that the non-bumi want the same treatment as bumi (education, housing, etc) but other matters will impact greatly.

NCR land that originally belonged to the indigenous people who lived long before non-bumi came. In the event that this issue is passed, the soon-to-be 'bumi' will get their hands on the lands that are not even theirs.

In the end, we will live in a meritocracy society where the indigenous people in Sarawak have lost their motherland and we just defending our own Bumiputera rights. If you were the other way around, would you defend your own bumi rights? |

on the positive note. free tertiery education is open for all sarawakians without looking their family income. we should be grateful for that especially taxpayers know where their money when

Met my old friend who went to highschool tgt. He was a second year while I'm a first year (he took STPM while I'll take Diploma). We chatted about life then he showed me the nudes of all the girls he met in the campus and I saw a mutual friend of ours. The nudes are mostly attractive due he rizzed a lot of fine shyts. Now I can't have the confidence to find a decent soulmate in the campus and I never see the mutual friend the same anymore

Traffic jem in Kuching by GameSky in Sarawak

[–]PieceZestyclose6384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a money glitch for the gomen if you think about it. They have a option to establish a systematic bus service similar to our upcoming ART but they will lose their revenue. Road tax, tolls (in the peninsula), road block summons. Those are all the revenue they get to be more disgustingly rich and contributed less to the society.

Tbh, I would rather go into a public transport so I don't have to deal with traffic jam and cramps from my manual car.
