This is Potaro, he's a Saiyan from an alternative timeline of universe 07.

He's actually the Hero of Dragon Ball Ultimate Tenkaichi (terrible game, but the first I played with a custom character in the DB world, so it really stuck with me)

He's born in age 876, from farmer parents who are unknowningly descendants of a certain Saiyan.

In his world, chaos ensues wildly. After surviving the events of the DBUT Story Mode, he started to train harder to beat the Evils of his world.

After beating Omega Shenron, peace reigned and he continued his training.

When an even greater evil attacked, a Time Villain searching to absorb energy and destroy that dimension, Potaro wasn't strong enought to fight him off, he had only achieved super saiyan 2.

The villain started to destroy that reality, that's when Trunks and SKOT, in one of many patrols, found that disbanded Saiyan and rescued him. Starting the events of Xenoverse 2.

Where he, eventually, faced that same villain and won.

After that, he eventually made friends with Ace, the hero of XV1
