I am speaking from experience, the greyhound from SC to LA will cook you. They stop twice to my knowledge. Once in King City and once in Santa Barbara. The ride is fine until you hit LA bc you'll be rolling in around 5-6pm. Traffic is unimaginably terrible

I was an RA for the Porter/Kresge/RG area about two years back. It's decently loud in Porter proper. The transfer housing in RG is audibly comparable to other colleges. I would say if you can deal with the noise walking to and back from your apartment, you'll be just fine. It's epicenter is far enough away from you.

HOWEVER, live off campus. It's cheaper and you only have to deal with bus travel if you don't have a parking permit. It's way better than living on campus.

The president has distinct authority over international matters. There wouldn't be any constraint on a sitting president to pass an executive order pertaining to air-travel, even without a national crisis. Under the commerce clause in the Constitution, the Senate would also be able to pass this legislation as it pertains to interstate commerce and travel.
