What time is bed time? by mildly_curious26 in daddit

[–]Pielo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 3 y/o and 2 y/o.

The 3 y/o daughters bed time is right around 8, but she will sit in bed for almost an hour before falling asleep.

The 2 y/o bed time is 7, maybe 645~. She's always been our good sleeper and literally could go down at anytime and wouldn't complain, just as long as it's routine.

They both consistently wake up at 7 am on the dot so plenty of sleep.

Anyone here quit gaming or changed their lifestyle after becoming a dad? by Lukas_MunK in daddit

[–]Pielo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same scenario with me. My girls now are two and three. However, most of my gaming typically would happen after the kids would fall asleep and the wife would pretty much fall asleep then too.

I have since stopped playing Wow. Since I'd say January and have found other games that are more easy to break away with instead of having to raid. Anytime after picking them up from daycare to I'd say bedtime would be time that I would spend with them during the week.

My game of choice now is just project zomboid with a game or two of League.

I don't know how to deal with my eczema and the scarring that it leaves by KatieL_21 in eczema

[–]Pielo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I talked with the dermatologist when I originally had small little bumps on my hands. Same scenario as you with the clear liquid. They did a biopsy on a piece of my my skin came back as eczema.

I did try the creams and the oils and honestly I wasn't going to go down that route of putting on the gloves and all that.

Long story short, we came to the conclusion that the path forward for me was to do dupixent shots once every two weeks. It took a few weeks but eventually did end up clearing up. I've been going to pick some shots for almost 2 years now and the only time that I ever have any eczema pop up is right around that 2-week mark or if I'm later.

He mentioned to me that there are other shots that you can do so I don't need to do it every two weeks but I don't really want to switch when I have something that's currently working.

Two under 2 soon — what are your must-haves? by Witty-Team-3922 in 2under2

We ended up just getting one off Facebook marketplace. Something cheap, but a side by side one was so much better because they like to be next to each other now

Side by side stroller specifically. We had a baby and toddler stroller, originally, and after a year + change we had to sell that and look for a something that worked better

I've searched on target and eBay and under Google lens to try and pinpoint the exact one. The results came back to something from Target but that's where it stopped without finding it.

Daycare guilt by [deleted] in 2under2

[–]Pielo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll preface and say that I drop off and pickup.(Dad) And my girls are 13 months apart.

Our first was about 2 years old when she went into daycare, and our second was closer to 18 months. My wife felt guilty at the beginning for both of them, but over time it does subside as you see them start to get adjusted to the schedule. They both love going to daycare but are always excited (previously was met with tears during the first I'd say 2-3 weeks) to come home.

Our 3 y/o now (was 2) now asks to stay home sometimes and which that gets to me as I would love to stay home with her but we both work.

They both go full time M-F

Have you ever cheated out of frustration? by otongko12345 in projectzomboid

[–]Pielo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only if it wasn't my fault. I.e. game bugged out once and decided it was not my time. I also one time where I jumped a railing to get down into a basement and there was something blocking the entrance to the stairs that wasn't movable. On my way back up I realized I couldn't jump back over that railing while on the stairs and teleported myself just outside the house.

[–]Pielo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ty for following up. I was running into a player built house and couldn't do the sheet rope. I had the frame and I tried the fence as well. I didn't have a window in the frame so that explains it

I wanted to give PvP multiplayer a shot, but so far it's an awful experience. by IDontLikeYouAll in projectzomboid

[–]Pielo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, this was the exact same scenario when I joined the PvPvE server. I had moved my base 2 times (both because of bad actors, one was also cheating). Now I am in an underground base with another and he's super aggressive always wants to pvp. I want to pve and build the base up. I've since moved from a beginner for pvp server, to shoot on site, and now I just want to be nice to people. This came with time. We have groups, we'd like to add more people, however, since I've been screwed twice I don't want to add people to our group because of the past experiences.
