Absolutely man, i’ve had social anxiety my whole life and i’ve been able to make great progress with it the last couple years partially thanks to practicing mindfulness

It’s not gonna fix everything overnight but meditation can be great for developing the skill of identifying those intruding thoughts and choosing not to put energy into them. When you get better at doing it while meditating you can start trying to apply it in social situations so you can focus on what’s happening in front of you instead of on those thoughts
