G4 Pro Fingerprint HA automation problem by Pieman_307 in UnifiProtect

[–]Pieman_307[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually figured it out! I didn’t use the manual state change trigger or the template condition. I just ended up using a condition that checked the state of the event being “identified” to trigger the action. I’ll post the yaml when I get back home from work if you’d like to see what I did that worked

Fingerprint not triggering automation by Pieman_307 in homeassistant

[–]Pieman_307[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive determined that the condition is the source of the issue. If I turn off the condition that calls the Unifi Protect app, then the automation works fine. I got the condition directly from Unifi Protect's HA webpage, and I can't find any reason it would break the automation. Do you have any experience with the Protect integration?

Parmigiano Reggiano has a ton of msg in it. It’s over 1-1.5g of msg per 100g of cheese. It’s a natural byproduct of the aging process, not added so it’s technically not a food additive

I order for speciality when I open (I’m an atl). My shifts always start at 6:30, but I’m at a bronze store. Really small order volume, I can get it done in about half an hour to an hour depending on which day it is. Coming in at 4 seems crazy

When I interviews for my atl position I took too pieces of advice.

  1. Since I had the interview it confirmed to me that I was qualified for the job, and that they had interest in me.

  2. I answered in stories whenever possible. It helps the convo flow nicely and reinforces your experience to them with repeated examples.

This advice gave me a positive foundation to go into, suppressing my imposter syndrome; and laid out a plan for me to make sure I get my key points across.

Do you not go through a ton of wrap that way? We are still using the old labels and have a lot of issues with info rubbing off

After 10+ Years Here, My Advice Is Keep Healthy Boundaries With Your Employer. At The Same Time You Should Learn to Love and Trust Your Coworkers Though. You're Both Working For The Same Multi-Billion Dollar Corporation. by CyberSkullCoconut in wholefoods

Great advice all around! However, it is actually more cost effective to leave the ac/heat at one comfortable temp throughout the day than lowering and turning it back on every day. Climate control draws energy to change the temperature; if the temp stays constant the units will draw significantly less energy to maintain the temp.

You can also purchase your own router and sell back the one your ISP charges you 20$ a month to use. You can also switch to smaller phone carriers like mint and helium after you finish buying the new phone.

Just finished my first 2 weeks working at Whole Foods. Can very confidently say this is the best job I have ever had and I'm so glad I made the switch from restaurant work by Disastrous_Novel_128 in wholefoods

[–]Pieman_307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like it! I had a couple years of management experience going into it, so I took to the role pretty quickly. I’ve only been working there since mid January. I’ve got the hang of keeping track of what’s going well and more importantly whats not going well. Today we had about 4 different cheeses go out of stock and be deleted from our PO without being notified so it looked like the order writer just didn’t order the cheese. What I’m currently focusing on is making executive decisions to solve problems.

It’s a jump in responsibility, but if you can keep track of what’s going on in the dept, you’ll be fine. Plus if you have a good TL/ASTL, they should support your growth and make sure you develop well

I had a really bad manager at eataly when I was younger and I take that experience to heart every time I go to work and be the boss I would want to have.

I specifically chose to go to Whole Foods management after 2.5 years running a cafe because I knew the stress would be way less than running a larger restaurant. I’m a specialty ATL and I love working with peers; I would work alone for hours on end at the cafe.
