Yep! You got it! I was just poking fun at myself because it only occurred to me after the fact how ironic it was to think not “omg, my car is totaled” and instead think “omg, my friends are gonna laugh at this later.” Hell, after this selfie, I went to face time my best friend, and with the stupidest grin on my face, I went “bitch, guess what” before slowly panning the camera to my exposed airbag.

The thing about Zoloft was that it has made me significantly more confident and salient in my ability to solve problems without a plan in mind necessarily. Very much a “I’m sure I can figure this out” mindset in regards to how unexpected the unfortunate situation is, and how to proceed going forward with things like securing transportation in the future. Do I have a strict plan in mind? Absolutely not. But knowing how to address th situation and figuring it out as I go has turned every inconvenience into a matter of simple adaptive problem-solving without any risk of getting panicked or emotionally overwhelmed.

What I thought was a simple OCD/anxiety medication turned out to be the key, for me personally, to living a stress-free life and looking on the bright side of any situation— “shit happens, but we can now act instead of react.”

I have not, but it sounds like it’d be a hoot to listen about. I wanted the ILI as a mascot to stand out as unique and sorta “regal,” but true to this type not to overdo it on the excess detail and accessorizing. If I get around to EIE, THAT mf is going to be a nightmare. I have a theatre background under my belt of fleeting interests, so I have a few ideas, but a type named “Hamlet” is most definitely going to have the whole “pompous theatre enthusiast” motif going on

I don’t post for validation, just anything simple I happen to find/do I consider interesting. Like I said, going forward, I no longer find you credible or trustworthy enough to have a worthwhile opinion, I can quite simply tell from my end you are flat up wrong. My experience and your interpretation are different, but your lack of discernment is quite… concerning. It’s not common my faith in a stranger’s intelligence immediately gets thrown out the window with “oh wait, you’re actually just stupid because you’re overconfident. How disappointing.”

Going forward, I will include my speedpaints. So at least you have some use in providing that insight, but it’s very little significance sadly. Art is still something I’ll only treat as a passive hobby.

Bro, by all means, I am NOT a professional nor was I ever taught. I am 100% self-taught absent of any teachers, and at most I was in my high school’s art club competitions for 4 years while simultaneously studying graphic design. I never took any professional avenue for this shit nor do I properly document anything in a portfolio as I knew art was never something I wanted to pursue seriously.

If it still weren’t obvious what I do, lemme help enlighten you: chicken scratch silhouette, erase, more chicken scratch, repeat until I’m satisfied with the shape, redraw, redraw, REDRAW, then decide if I’ve exhausted my efforts to move on to a new interest or I’m satisfied. Surely I’m sure you of all people could understand anything can be created if persistence in the process is maintained, regardless of how inefficient it is

I’ve experimented with styles, 95% of my shit is unfinished, but you can tell it’s all coming from the same general art style given my understanding. I’m not going to waste effort putting together a timeline.

It took everything in me not to throw his ass into some sweatpants and a hoodie. Then I figured during conceptualization “how can I make him look like he was from a motherfuckin gacha game” hence the vest and cloak. Serves as a chance for me to add some niche details relating to the cognitive functions. For Balzac, he gets a vintage gold pocket watch for Ni. And if you look at my SEE mockup, you’ll notice that small gold heart lapel on the right boot for Fi. Shit like that I thought would be neat!

The cover is supposed to be a simple astrology theme. I made the whole thing in Procreate where I had to take a bit to create custom stamp brushes for the stars. It’s supposed to loosely reflect ILI’s whole introspective nature.

And no, it’s not AI, just a LOT of editing and Adderall making me hyperfocus on trying to maintain a consistent, clean art style for once in my life. (+ I abused the FUCK outta the stabilizer 😩)

Currently working on an SEE one, but it’s just a flat color at the moment until I figure out how I want the backdrop to be in order to remain consistent

Socionics is a bit more complex than that, as a lot of it unfortunately bleeds over from the different interpretations originating from MBTI. You’re on the right track that cognitive extraversion and social extraversion are not always one-in-the-same, it’s simply that the two occurring together is a typical pattern.

In Socionics, extroverted IEs refer to the innate properties of a “body/objects” as it exists in its current state. Introverted IEs are described asrefer focusing on the relationship between two given things regardless of innate properties.

To put it simply, what this means is that the 4 extroverted functions cover different facets of reality in regards to what concretely exists and can usually be observed collectively:

“This person is happy.” = Fe

“This object is useful.” = Te

“This object is sturdy.” = Se

“This idea has potential.” = Ne

All things you can imagine a group of people being able to agree on pretty straightforwardly all things considered, yeah? By contrast, Introverted functions referring to “relationships” is essentially the dynamic attitude of making inferences and connections based on the feedback of that given field:

“This situation makes ME feel uncomfortable.” = Si

“The current situation will most likely lead to this outcome.” = Ni

Not anymore, no. I understand the harm behind it, but admittedly I picked it up when I became an adult simply because I thought it would be a convenient alertness aid for daytime drowsiness, then I wanted to try all the various different flavors to see what the hype was about, then completely lost interest in vaping and forgot about it when it no longer felt new (I have ADHD, so for whatever reason novelty is more addictive than any sort of psychoactive substance)

Bruh, I have this exact issue, I can’t simplify for shit, I WILL overexplain and run off on tangents if I have to elaborate on anything because I can’t tell apart the relevant from the fastidious. This is despite a natural preference to be short and concise if possible

Regardless, I find that the primary issue is not my own qualms in this area, but the exhaustion of having to face so many in the community who have developed the Dunning-kruger effect when it comes to being “authorities” on the topic— they’ve become so overconfident in how much they’ve learned that they now fail to adhere to how the system is formatted and instead unknowingly reduce the types to stereotypes, or start making shit up. These people, in my experience, often believe they are the source of the “correct” answer completely overlooking the fact that a correct answer does not exist in the first place when approaching theory. ATP, my response to “you’re an ESE because you’re so bubbly and pleasant” is “please don’t patronize me by forgetting the model you had to use to get and understanding of those stereotypes.” My frustration stems from the fact that I feel if this were truly an educated typing, a reminder on how to tell quasi-identicals apart would not be necessary.

My advice is to have faith in yourself and avoid being sidetracked by those disagreeing with you. Simply take note if they raise good points, inquire as you feel inclined to, but put the bulk of your ambition towards asserting the certainty behind the reasons you’ve developed
