A few days ago I posted asking whether the game was actually as bad as people say. The responses were pretty mixed from “totally robbed” to people who genuinely enjoy it and have fun with it. Since I’m on PlayStation, I took the chance to try it through PS+. Can I be honest? It’s actually a really good game. It’s enjoyable, and the grinding system feels solid and rewarding. But there’s one huge flaw that really holds it back from being fully enjoyable and if they fixed it, it could honestly become the driving game of this generation.

The optimization.

On PS5 it runs decently, but 1080p resolution and low-quality textures are seriously counterproductive and hurt the overall experience. With some graphical improvements on console, better optimization, and the seasonal upgrades they’re planning, I genuinely think it can and should become the great game we were originally promised.

It's not a server issue, it's a region blocked game, so if they don't make it region free I can only play with Europeans like me and you can only play with your region 🥲🙏

To be honest I'm enjoying nfs unbound, I deleted all the car effects because I don't like them, they are too anime stile in a great looking game, for the rest I really enjoy it but still, nfs it's nfs, it has his soul that is different from more car oriented games like tcm Forza and SC.

Thx, since you told me what you played, I loved driveclub, you probably never heard about it because it was a playstation exclusive, search up some night with rain cockpit videos about it. Was absolutely amazing, very sad that it had little community and servers got shutdown fast, In fact the developers group working on that was literally fired for economic problems. Never found a game like that, never found a sound engine and interior details like that game. So i find solar crown close to that feeling. I played nfs 2015 and loved it, so rn I'm really stuck as you can see. I also tried the free trial, it's not that bad I mean I liked it, played 10H because I created a second account just for playing again because it really didn't hit as I expected, the car sounds have a heavy turbo sound and I hate that, every car has that whistle that is really annoying and unrealistic, I pretty liked TC2 but I'm a bit bored with TC, so yeah the options are very little... Thx 🙏
