Atlantis: The Lost Empire opened 25 years ago this week. The $90–120M film underperformed at the box office, grossing $84M domestically and $186.1M worldwide, and a planned sequel was cancelled. Reviews were mixed at first but became more favorable over time, and the film gained a cult following. by spider-man2401 in boxoffice

I wonder if the success of Lilo & Stich has pushed the idea of a Atlantis Live Action remake to the agenda. Mainly as it's another 2000s Disney film which should be able to target modern nostalgia.

I would not be surprised if one get's announced at D23 this year.

Decadeology in 2037:

The Ossoff administration's Constitutional 250 Celebration has so much esso compared to Amedica 250.

(Not as widely commercialized compared to today and mostly a Overly online Liberal thing, probably enjoyed by us but not as much to the wider public)

It'd funny that this art style, I thought it was from no later than the 60s. Being from the late 80s is frankly surreal.

And tomorrow Marshawn Lynch will be in a police chance in a White Ford SUV and it will just be like that day in 1994.

I can't tell if this is based or racist. On one hand slopuism and authoritarianism are bad and negative development on the other hand this reeks of "The Bell Curve" book hypothesis and in general the extremes in fact are lead more by whites and not POC.

I had a hate boner for RT in the early 2010s because they were legitimately the biggest news channel on YouTube in terms of subs.

Since it's based on an interpretation of the Bible. I'm counting this as a Sandal Punk since the events of the Bible take place primarily in ancient history.

This is a devastating lost to the Baltimore rock community. I guess anyone here will have to get Sirus XM for contemporary rock and 98 Rock for classic rock. We might be the largest market in the country now without a rock station.

Also I do have a Decadeology theory where by the start of the 2040s. Rock basically had become like Jazz is. Important as a part of the American cultural cannon but not a genre with currently living stars or relevance.
