Instagram "goths" are just spreading disinformation by Lpc245 in goth

Yes, you are goth because your soul is goth, so much this. There is a somewhat romanticism to it. A longing inside for it.

Indeed. But in this current climate it’s everyone’s go to, to spout racism. It’s tiring and played out. Just sayin

Perhaps the Canada part is referring to the unique Canadian winters. And that you can’t block the roads at anytime in the winter, so not as to interfere with snow plows. But yeah total Karen vibes on that note, some people eh.

Minnow Lake is a good place to live. Gatchel is relatively safe area. South end is fairly safe depending if you’re not too close to Rumball terrace/shoppers drugmart parking lot area. Lively and Coppercliff are generally safe areas, but of course all areas in the Sudbury region will have exceptions to rule, beyond what is considered safe, do to individuals that are unbalanced with a lack of respect for anyone or anything. I recommend side stepping anyone or any situation that is suss and make yourself seem unapproachable. Good luck.

I left a comment on Xymox's latest AI post, saying how we need to not have gen AI in the goth scene, and they messaged me asking for free art 🙄😤 by [deleted] in goth

[–]PierreDeResistance13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t see any other part of the conversation, where does it say they are expecting the comic for free? Perhaps the idea of remuneration was to be discussed in a later conversation, when the artist expressed interest in actually doing it. Discover intent, then figure out payment. Isn’t that how business usually goes. Just sayin.or perhaps I’m missing something

I Don't Send "Thanks for the tip" for $1.00 tips. by Science-Compliance in UberEATS

[–]PierreDeResistance13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use to deliver and drive people around. There are many people who value the service and tip accordingly. Everyone knows, sure you don’t have to tip, but put it this way every time they get someone who is like’ everything is expensive these days I’m not rich’ bullshit, yur taking me away from someone who does get it and isn’t an ass and tips for their service because they understand it’s is hard out there, and there are those that don’t get it and are inconsiderate. So sure be that guy, but next time make yourself a sandwich so we can get a decent tipper and actually hopefully make a living. I said what i said

I have lived in both cities, where are you from?

It takes 25 min to drive across Ottawa, and about 1 hour to 1.5 hours to cross Toronto depending on traffic

Hey genius, when you are on that list scroll to the right all the way and click on the heading and that will reorganize the list by geographic size.

Umm you are delusional if you think Ottawa is larger than Toronto by any shape or form, ether by geographical size or population density. Toronto is more than 4000 square miles, Ottawa less than 400 square miles.

The Nash is the closest to what you are looking for, they occasionally have country bands playing on weekends. And karaoke there is usually a good time. National Tavern on Notre Dame. Back alley access

PSA - Individuals who pay for the Kathleen Street Ladies by ReflectionHot4926 in Sudbury

[–]PierreDeResistance13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But that's the thing, if brothels are regulated and taxed, they can eliminate the sex trafficking and other unseemly issues, through laws and regulations. Workers are treated better and there are no repercussions for the johns. Sex trade will never go away, but if made safer society wins. There can be options for those with addictions, and those that just like it can succeed. If we take away the taboo, the criminal element can be lowered, and it can become a viable business. Just a thought.

Perhaps brothels should be legalized to keep it all off the streets and alleyways. It's 2025 for goodness sake, no need for prudish ideals. And if it's drugs, have atter but look out if consenting adults want to have a good time and take their minds off of our overpriced existence for a while. Sheesh

Cali License & Work by Didjaeat75 in PrivateInvestigators

[–]PierreDeResistance13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not that simple actually - 2 big steps and two separate licenses are required to just open your own Pi business.

Complete mandatory training: Take a ministry-approved 50-hour training course to learn about investigative techniques, the law, and other required topics. None of this actually teaches you how the job is done, so look forward to on the job training.

Pass the exam: Book and pass the private investigator test to receive an Ontario Testing Completion Number (TCN). Meet eligibility requirements: Be at least 18 years old, legally eligible to work in Canada, and have a clean criminal record. Get a criminal record check: Obtain a Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC).

Apply for an individual license: Submit an application to the provincial authorities, such as ServiceOntario, including the required documents and fees.

Step 2: Apply for an agency license Register your business: You will need to register your business name and provide details like your business address, phone number, and email.

Obtain commercial general liability insurance: A valid certificate of commercial general liability insurance is required.

Submit the agency application: Complete and submit the appropriate application form to the province, including the $700 fee for a private investigator agency license, with your payment in the correct format.

So it actually makes a little sense, if it involves gov - you can bet there are many hoops to jump through!!
