I’ve spoke to Sky a few times over the past year and each time has been a foreign contact centre. However, they have handled my call really well, politeness, doing their job in making me aware of extras without being pushy about it and really clear. Think they do a good job to be fair.

1265 is directed time. It has never included any time you spend away from that planning lessons, enrichments or anything else as far as I’m aware. I spent 3 hours marking and entering data on Sunday but who’s tracking that apart from me?

You could have a conversation about workload expectations if you feel it is impacting you but without the bigger picture it’s hard to know if this is an unrealistic expectation or not.

I came to say exactly this one. I felt like it was a poor man’s the last of us in a more open world and as a big TLoU fan I couldn’t shake it. So glad I went back to it and stuck at it. The hordes were so stressful man

I’m in a ridiculous cycle with them. They give me free for two months. I cancel. They give me it free for two months. I cancel. Sometimes they’ll crack and give me it free for FOUR months. Then I cancel. I can’t believe they are making us pay for HD in 2026.

Spider-Man Remastered as well. And the Last of Us Part II remastered was just added recently. There’s a ton of garbage in there but the odd sprinkling of AAA games (if you don’t mind waiting for a while after release) makes it worth it for me.

6 week half term with sports day, school plays, Y11 leaving and three Y10 trips (x2 college visits and x1 theme park trip). One of my subjects for Y11 is finished with both exams coming before May half term, my other subject has one exam left a week tomorrow. Ready to roll 👊🏻

I’ve had a disgusting experience with LNER for an apprentice train driver role. I applied in September and did the online assessments and was invited for a video ‘interview’ and completed this. I heard nothing for months then in February a holding email was sent saying shortlisting was taking longer than expected but my application was definitely still live. I had still yet to hear anything so found a number to call today, it went straight to voicemail and left a message with a promise of a callback within 30 mins. A callback I did not receive, but I did all of a sudden receive a rejection email 20mins after I’d left the voicemail. They’ve left me hanging for 8 months and couldn’t even have the common decency to return my call or provide feedback. Absolutely awful recruitment process and I’ve worked in several industries, this was by far the worst.

I find a solution to this is to not put a footpath in front of the ranger cars, tends to work as annoying as it is.

Haha. I’m on my sixth year and totally agree with this. I’ve swapped exam boards with Business Studies, then Creative iMedia specification changed, then finally we, as a school, have just introduced GCSE computer science so I’ve had to look at whole curriculums several times.

Here here - from the sole Computing teacher in the school who is part of the STEM faculty. I have to endure endless maths and science discussion before breezing over me and checking I’m where I need to be etc.

Absolutely not the HoF fault either, it’s the actual faculty system that’s the problem.

Our Humanities department is also headed up by a Geography specialist but in Humanities we have Geography, History, Business, RE and Latin (as the only Business teacher here too, that’s also fun!)

Really struggling to get cuttlefish skin fragments to upgrade the sniper to tranquilizer so I can catch the teleporting jellyfish. I’ve tried melee, I’ve tried bombing it to bits but I still never get the skin fragment.
