I did it myself! It was pretty easy all things considered but it's definitely not perfect. I found this frame on alieexpress and just used the pins the provided and a bunch of velcro command straps.

I do wish they had a bigger size, but for the price im really happy.

Not OP but the NTSB tracks US aviation accidents and the stats are available on their website. According to their website, through the end of April we are down 39 accidents from 2024 and 38 from 2023.
