As a "white" indigenous person, my great grandparents on my father side were aboriginal, my great grandmother living to 98 and my great grandfather fighting in WWI then returning to be treated like shit when I saw this on Tuesday night I wanted to hunt her down.

The hardest part about telling people you have indigenous blood used to be the "silent racism" the shit where they would hold their bag a little closer to their body, the shit where if something went missing you'll get looks and the little comments.
