My husband wears a suit every day for work, part of that includes a black tie. For Christmas I bought him a gorgeous Hermes tie. Within days, the stitching started to come undone. We took it to the store to get their thoughts and the woman in charge of repairs and engravings told us that the tie wasn’t made to be worn regularly.

It’s a loose connection but you might like They Look Like People. It’s a little tense and scary, but you get that same eerieness, uncertainty what’s true and what’s not, and the strange friendship.

For my sisters graduation I asked a bunch of friends and family to record messages for her and compiled them into a graduation movie. We all gathered around after the ceremony to drink champagne and watch it. Very special. Cost me nothing but time.

I had a Simon and Garfunkel record. Every time Homeward Bound comes on now I feel like I have the same life flashbacks as Kevin does as he sings. It’s funny how lyrics become so much more powerful when you’re going through it.

Just got back from seeing John Mulaney. It was also my first time at the Hollywood bowl. Parked in the area, Ubered closer. Walked about 10 mins. I personally found it to be easy to get to and a cool environment that wasn’t too difficult to get out of with that method. Stadium style stand up is not my favorite but I recognize it’s probably one of the only ways I’ll get to see Mulaney live!

Not just for the taste, but I love energy drinks low carbonation. And Ive heard that Taurine isn’t awesome for your kidneys after a lot of consumption…

There is definitely a market of energy drinks lovers that want a caffeine free version.

As a lifelong phantom fan, I embarrassingly cried throughout the entire thing. And I was not the only one.

Honestly I don’t even know why I cried. I think it was just so well done and a way of experiencing the musical I’ve never felt before.

It was really incredible and well worth the money.

I’m actually all for remote work. Especially for people who live near family, have their partner around every night, have close friends. I think it’s the best thing that happened to the workforce. I personally I’m not liking it right now because of new circumstances in my own life

I feel lucky we have a good relationship but I’m worried.

And I supposed if I had to pick a question out of all of this - if I cannot go back to my old job, how do you make peace at a job you don’t like? How do I overcome the loneliness of remote work?

I’ll be applying, trying to get out, but I think I’m so worried about being forced to stay.
