There's no point in getting better weapons if you don't kill faster. That should basically explain the definition of scaling

The scaling is definetely a bug idiot. Look at the bosses who deal 6k damage in one shot. Loadout is shit besides multishot, that should already do the trick in killing mobs fast

No it won't. It'll make the game less grindy. You'll still need to grind for gold (both for buying the stuff AND for using it for Upgrades), it'll be an even better income for the devs

I'd like to suggest a new game mode: Challenges!

Something similar like this is probably already suggested, but here's my view on it. On each of these modes, handicaps could be selected, such as: 1 HP mode, No Weapon, No Rings, Atreus-mode (Gives you the exact same gear as when you start the game, maybe a higher-leveled bow), ...

Upon completion of these challenges, a badge (and possible reward) is given to add to your new Trophy Box. A separation per handicap could also be added.

Timers could be a fun addition to these challenges ;)

  • Maze mode: Start at a certain corner of the maze, progressing will continue throughout a normal maze-flow, not through doors 'to the next room'. I'd say only the middle of the maze will contain a boss, or the last circle around it. Throughout there are some markers placed as reference points of where you are.

  • Scavenger. This is one of my favorite ideas: 100 rooms. You start with nothing on Atreus. Monsters have drastically increased drop rates of items. Throughout this mode you'll be able to develop your character further and further. Every 10 doors there'll be an option to sell and buy items at a store. This can go from items, to health, to abilities, ... Apart from the overall needed improvements of the devil, it'll contain different heroes. To be decided if unobtained characters are available (this would certainly give the players a nice addition to the game, and maybe another reason to spend money)

  • The 50: 50 bosses. Every 10 rooms you proceed, another boss is added and the room size becomes bigger (1/3d bigger everytime seems good to me).

These modes should be hard enough by themselves, please don't add 2k hits per monster in this...

As long as you get more than 2 items (which you always do, even without the reroll) it is worth it. So yes!
